Cynthia "C" Haley-Seikel is the Federal Aviation Administration contract manager for University Outreach's FAA/Air Traffic Control Training Department. She and her staff augment and assist the FAA in their efforts to train air traffic controllers. Located at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City, the FAA/ATC Department is an integral part of the nation's air traffic controller training program. In addition to training, Ms. Haley-Seikel and her staff assist the FAA in their efforts to revise and develop training materials in both conventional and computer-based instructional formats.
Ms. Haley-Seikel teaches Train-the-Trainer soft skill courses for the FAA; as well as LSTD 3503 Interdisciplinary Inquiry, LSTD 3623 Conflict Resolution and LSTD 3613 Leadership in Organizations for OU's College of Liberal Studies. In addition, she teaches a 10th grade religious education class for her church on Wednesday nights.
She received a bachelor's degree in liberal studies with a concentration in administrative leadership in 1998, graduating with distinction from the University of Oklahoma. She has also earned a master's degree from OU in educational psychology (instructional design tract).
Ms. Haley-Seikel is married to Chris and has two children, two children in-law, two stepchildren and four grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys running with her husband. |
