Message from the Directors

Welcome to our new Web site!

The OU FAA/ATC Training Support Program is one of many federal and state contracts providing quality support and training to our customer. Team OU supports FAA/ATC seminars, certifications, classroom and field training, correspondence, computer-based and web-based training, and other training needs as they arise.

In line with our parent program, the University of Oklahoma's OUTREACH College of Continuing Education, we accomplish our mission by offering not only the support of a professional, experienced staff, but also drawing upon the resources of a great University. Our outstanding OU faculty and staff daily provide knowledge solutions to meet the needs of our FAA customers in Oklahoma and around the world.

Please take a few minutes to “link around” and see what we are all about. We are always updating our information, so please add us to your “Favorites” and visit often. For potential instructors who are considering joining our team, the University of Oklahoma marching band is named “Pride” and that truly describes our feelings about this program, The University of Oklahoma, and our State.

The kind, friendly, and progressive spirit of the “Sooners” - that started with the 1889 Land Run - is still very prevalent in the hearts of Oklahomans’ today. This program (as you will see in “About Us”) has been solely the FAA Contract Training Program.

As stated earlier, however, we have developed an Air Traffic Control degree program within OU's Aviation Department at the University’s Max Westheimer Airport/North Campus. We are very excited about this program and it will be another vital piece of the quality academic training we provide, not only for Oklahomans, but throughout the United States and in many countries around the world.
